| | | | About reference yields Some cartridges work in many printers, and because page yields are a result of system design, yields from those cartridges may vary from printer to printer, although the variance is generally small. Because of space constraints in many places where page yields are published – like catalogs and cartridge packaging – it’s impractical to list every possible yield for a given cartridge. Consequently, HP publishes a reference yield for every cartridge. It’s the yield based on one printer the cartridge is compatible with, which is used as a proxy for the yield of all printers the cartridge is compatible with. Customers can look up yields for specific printer/cartridge combinations by searching for their printer on this website. |
